Ultra Violet U/V Blacklight

Ultraviolet (U/V) also known as blacklight makes certain items glow brightly providing a strong visual contrast against a dark background.

U/V is used with visual impairments and often works best in a dark environment without natural light.

U/V fittings come in a range of sizes using both fluorescent tubes and more recently LED units.

The LED variety fit neatly into a specially adapted ceiling tile or can be safely wall mounted with no risk of a tube being shattered. You can also adjust the intensity of the light for different situations.

U/V fabrics are a highly effective way of quickly creating a flood of U/V reactive surface and come in a range of colours.

Waterbeds offer the user a comfortable supportive surface to lay on without pressure points. The heater provides and maintains a comfortable constant warmth adjustable by a thermostat controller.

The water enables the user to make movements more easily and without the pressure associated with standard beds. The waterbed can sit directly onto a floor covering and where portable / mobile hoist access is required a bespoke plinth is placed underneath the waterbed allowing the hoist legs to wheel under to hoist the user onto the bed.

The addition of a vibro-acoustic option which is discreetly integrated into the hoist platform or a standard platform transfers the lower frequencies of music from your preferred sound source (CD, ipod, ipad, iphone etc) and this is felt and heard through the waterbed above.

The waterbed heater is left on all the time as it can take upto 2 days to reach the selected temperature but will cool down much quicker. Once filled the waterbed is very heavy due to the volume of water contained inside the bed. Our waterbeds are available in three sizes - Single, Single Plus and Double and the vinyl cover and any raised plinths can be made in a range of twelve colours.

Heated Waterbed on a raised vibro-acoustic platform assisting an overhead hoist system. A fibre optic wall carpet, acrylic mirrors and a ball/bead bubble tube enhance the comfortable surroundings of the waterbed area.

Using the four coloured buttons on the front of this panel select and switch between different sounds on the chosen Storage Card inserted into the panel.
